I was feeling under the weather today and was surprised to come home to an INCREDIBLE homemade chicken soup by my fiancé! I’m so happy I’m marrying this man – I swear this is the reason I’m feeling better so quickly!
He didn’t take pictures along the way, but I wanted to share this with you regardless.
- 2 chicken breast, chopped
- 4 cups frozen vegetables
- 1 cup wild rice melody (wild rice and balsamic rice)
- 4 chicken bouillon cubes
- 10 cups of water
- Garlic salt to taste (optional)
STEP 1: Chop chicken breast and vegetables
STEP 2: Combine all ingredients in a large stock pot
STEP 3: Bring to a simmer (do not cover) and cook for the length it takes to cook the rice.
STEP 4: Serve hot. Add garlic salt or other seasonings to taste. Personally, it was amazing as is 🙂
